Hello again!

Woah, long time, no blog! It seems my poor blog has been pretty neglected over the past few months. It's not for any particular reason, rather than a lack of inspiration, and I'd rather not force myself to post if I have nothing to say - it could get very boring very quickly!

If you follow me on Twitter, I'm sure you have been avoiding catching my usual ramblings! I have not been up to loads, just enjoying the UK sun (when it made it's appearance for, like, a day...), working, and most recently, Matthew and I went to Ibiza for a week! It was such a great holiday - I'll write up a separate post with some pictures soon!  

Of course, as you can probably tell (!), I've also been spending my time (me and the rest of the world, that is!) prettying up my iPhone camera roll with A Beautiful Mess app.

I also psyched myself up to do BEDM posts, and I have completely failed! I might do a biggish post and condense them down and catch up! Maybe.

Hope you've all been well :) I definitely won't leave it so long this time!

There goes my hero, he's ordinary

Meet my new nail hero, Barry M Gelly nail polish in Lychee. The most perfect nude polish that I've owned, makes me feel all classy (weird emotion to get from a nail varnish?!) and, it's only £3.99!

In terms of the super shiny finish this is meant to have, I think it could be glossier! But apart from that, I cannot fault it. I couldn't help but pick up a few other shades, so also have Greenberry, Blood Orange and Papaya! I can't say I've worn any other nail polish except these four in weeks!

A little update

Hello! I've been gone for what seems to be forever... I blame a lack of inspiration and it being too cold to do anything outside!

I plan on getting back into blogging as soon as I can - Currently trying to use up a disposable camera to use for my photos...we'll see how that goes once I've used up the film!

Recently, I've been...

• Learning to drive! You may remember this is one of my new year's resolutions so hopefully will be on the road soon!
• Listening to a lot of Peace. Matthew and I saw them a couple of weeks ago too, they were awesome!
• Eating a lot of chocolate...hooray for Easter!
• Cooking! On Easter Sunday, I rustled up a roast for the fam and Matthew, and then we made a huge batch of shortbread! Yum. 
• Buying things for our holiday! We're heading to Ibiza for a week in May (39 days to go!) so am trying not to go too overboard on the bikinis/sunglasses/sandals...

What we made: Pesto, prawn and goat's cheese pizza!

Last week, I was checking out my ever-growing food board on my Pinterest (I often wonder if my Pinterest followers think I'm fat because of it.), and thought, out of all the delicious recipes I've pinned, I've never actually gone ahead and made any of them! Cue: making the most yummy pizza with Matthew over the weekend!

We used this recipe -  We used flatbread for the base which worked really nicely, and added some rocket on top as well once the pizza had been taken out of the oven! It was really simple to make, and tasted so so good!

Next on the list to make is: some pulled pork and some red velvet cheesecake brownies, mmmm!

Under your bed

Hi guys! It's been a long time - haven't really had much to chat about at the moment but am coming up with lots of new ideas for future posts :)

But for now, I'll leave you with the new video for Kid Champion! Made by the Fenixx boys, it has been featured on Promo News, which is huge! It's an incredibly catchy tune too, it's been in my head literally aaaall week!
